Baked Spaghetti
- 1/2 box thin spaghetti noodles, cooked (I used whole wheat)
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 8 oz. fresh mozzarella, cut into thin pieces
- 1/4 C. pesto sauce
- 1/4 C. parmesan cheese
- salt, pepper
- Preheat oven to 375
- Cook ground beef in skillet. Drain and return to pan. Stir in spaghetti sauce.
- Combine cooked spaghetti noodles with beef sauce, stir until completely mixed.
- Pour half of spaghetti into a 13×9 baking dish.
- Next arrange half of the mozzarella slices on top.
- Top each slice of cheese with a little less than a Tbs. of pesto sauce.
- Next layer remaining spaghetti and top with remaining cheese slices.
- Finish with parmesan cheese and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Bake in oven for 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
Pesto French Bread
- 1 loaf french bread
- pesto
- Cut your french bread into slices and spread each with desired amount of pesto.
- Bake in oven at 375 for about 7-10 minutes.
Do you prefer regular spaghetti or baked spaghetti? I love baked spaghetti because of the cheese!
